Kilobyte

This is my discription of a kilobyte. A kilobyte measures 1,024 bytes.

The prefix "kilo" means 1,000, but in the computer world, rules apply differently. The kilobyte measures from 2^ 10, which makes up

1,024. Also, 1,024 KB come up to 1 MB, 1,024 MB come up to 1 GB & so on. If a document, website etc. goes higher than 1,024 KB,

it will be measured in megabytes.
